Ron to Speak at International Convention

I am pleased to announce that for the second year in a row, I have been asked to speak at the 4EVER Group’s international videographer’s convention and tradeshow, Video ’07. This year it will be held in Jacksonville, FL, January 8-11. Not only that, but my beloved wife and business partner, Tasra, will also be speaking.

I’ll be giving a presentation on the secrets to our company’s success—helping other people in my industry achieve their dreams and goals in this business of wedding and event videography. It’s entitled “Getting Paid What You’re Worth.” We’ll be releasing a longer version of the presentation on audio CD as well. Tasra will be giving a presentation on effective blogging for small businesses. She’s become quite the blogging pro. Check hers out.

The 4EVER Group is dedicated to providing resources, educational materials and services to all facets of the event video industry. By offering quality products and services, by hosting educational events and by bringing the industry together as one support network, The 4EVER Group will help advance and promote the entire event video industry.

This is a great honor and I look forward to not only teaching again, but learning from other successful videographers. I plan to come back with a bunch of great new tricks of the trade to make the videos we make for you that much better. 2007 is sure to be our best year yet! I’m glad you’ll be along for the ride.

Piñon Design: Promo Video

This is the latest Cinematic Studios promo hot “off the presses”. Piñon Design is one of San Francisco’s premiere floral designers serving such prestigious establishments as the Ritz Carlton, Bloomingdales, and the San Francisco Ballet. They naturally also do weddings.

Jun Piñon is a self-taught and is a savvy, witty, and innovative designer and entrepreneur. He is the consummate American success story, an immigrant to the States who started literally out of the back of his truck. Now he caters to the best of the best and is in high demand.

We wanted to produce a video that was cool, cutting edge, yet still captured the essence of Jun’s personality and his studios’ designs. Look for more collaborative video between Piñon Design and Cinematic Studios as we’ll be working with Jun to produce a periodic video podcast. Stay tuned.

NACE San Francisco: Promo Video

Every year the San Francisco Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) produces a lavish fundraiser called the “Red Party.” We produced this video as a general NACE promo that they could use to show prospective members what a NACE event is all about. It’s cool and jazzy.
